Universal, Configurable Control Unit with I/O and CAN FD Connection
The PCAN-MicroMod FD ECU serves as a versatile control module, engineered for the seamless integration of bespoke peripherals in automotive systems. It is equipped with a CAN FD connection and an array of both analog and digital I/Os to cater to a broad spectrum of requirements.
PCAN-MicroMod FD products are configured with a free Windows® software. In addition to simply mapping, I/Os to CAN IDs, function blocks for processing the data are also available. The configuration created on the computer is transferred via the CAN bus to the PCAN-MicroMod FD which then runs as an autonomous CAN node.
Constructed with a robust casing and dual automotive connectors, this unit is specifically designed to withstand the rigors of utility and heavy-duty vehicular applications, even under the most challenging conditions.
Note: the configuration requires a PEAK-System interface.
