The Fuji Electric KDRB1LE01 is a 460/480V low impedance AC line reactor compatible with Fuji FRENIC series variable frequency drives for 20 HP NEC motor ratings (27A rated current) — UL Type 1 enclosed construction for panel or free-standing installation in clean, indoor environments.
AC line reactors are strongly recommended — and in some utility agreements required — for all VFD installations. The KDRB1LE01 achieves three critical functions: (1) reduces total harmonic current distortion (THD) at the drive input by up to 50%, helping comply with IEEE 519 harmonic limits; (2) protects the drive's input rectifier and DC bus capacitors from damaging line voltage transients and notching; and (3) improves input power factor, reducing reactive current demand.
Install on the AC input side of the drive — between the circuit breaker and the drive's input terminals. Compatible with FRENIC-Mini, FRENIC-Ace, and FRENIC-MEGA drives.
