The Fuji Electric ACL-40B is a zero-phase (common-mode) noise reducing reactor for use with Fuji Electric variable frequency drives and motor installations. This item has been discontinued; availability limited to remaining stock.
Zero-phase reactors suppress common-mode (ground leakage) noise currents generated by VFD output PWM switching on motor cables. Unlike differential-mode line reactors, zero-phase reactors present high impedance to common-mode currents flowing on all three output phases simultaneously, reducing EMI emissions, motor shaft currents, and bearing currents that can cause premature motor bearing failure.
Particularly beneficial on long motor cable runs and in installations where motor bearing life or shaft voltage is a concern. Install on the VFD output side, as close to the drive as practical. Genuine Fuji Electric OEM accessory.
