The BOOT option P48183-B21 HPE NS204i-u Gen11 NVMe Hot Plug Boot Optimized Storage Device. The N204i-u Boot device includes 2x 480GB M.2 NVMe SSDs, with preconfigured hardware RAID1. When installed the (P65410-B21) HPE ProLiant DL20 Gen11 NS204i-u Hot Plug Boot Optimized Storage Device Cable Kit is required.
The DL20 Gen11 only has 1 riser (P52753-B21) HPE ProLiant DL320 Gen11 x16 FHHL Riser Kit. This system also has a external slot for the OCP 3.0 Network card.

Riser 1 This is the main PCIe riser slot providing a full x16 PCIe 5.0 connection. It supports high-performance cards like GPUs, RAID controllers, or additional NICs depending on the riser card installed.
External OCP 3.0 NetworkingThis is the external OCP slot used for networking. It accepts standard OCP 3.0 network cards and is the one visible on the rear of the server.
Internal OCP 3.0 StorageThis is the internal OCP slot dedicated to storage. It supports Type-o storage controllers (the -o models like MR216i-o and MR416i-o) for adding RAID/HBA functionality without using the main PCIe slot.

The DL20 Gen11 uses HPE iLO 6 for remote server management. By default, iLO shares the embedded Broadcom 1GbE port (NIC port 1), but you can add a dedicated iLO management port by installing the P65407-B21 enablement kit. It provides standard remote console, power control, health monitoring, and firmware management, with optional iLO Advanced licenses available for enhanced security and features.
