Refund policy

Alo Tech Solutions — Refund & RMA Policy

Effective Date: May 29, 2026

This policy applies to all B2B customers purchasing from alotechparts.com. As an enterprise IT hardware reseller serving 100+ countries, our refund/RMA process is designed for business buyers and aligns with OEM warranty pass-through standards.

1. Return Window

You may request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) within 30 days of receiving your shipment for the following reasons:

  • Dead-on-arrival (DOA) units
  • Wrong item shipped (manufacturer SKU mismatch)
  • Damage during transit (must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photos)
  • Significant deviation from advertised specifications

2. Warranty Returns (Beyond 30 Days)

For defects discovered after the 30-day window, the OEM manufacturer warranty applies directly. We will assist with warranty registration and submission to Cisco, HPE, Dell, Juniper, Fortinet, etc. as a B2B service.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following are non-returnable except for manufacturing defects:

  • Software licenses and digital activation keys (post-activation)
  • Custom-configured systems built to spec
  • Items damaged due to improper installation, electrical incident, or user error
  • Items with broken tamper seals where seal integrity is required for warranty

4. RMA Process

  1. Email info@alotechsolutions.com with order #, product part number, and detailed description of issue (photos/videos required for damage claims)
  2. We issue an RMA number within 2 business days and provide return shipping instructions
  3. Customer ships the item back via DHL/UPS/FedEx (customer pays return freight unless DOA, wrong item, or warranty case)
  4. Upon receipt and inspection, refund/replacement is processed within 5 business days

5. Restocking Fee

Non-defective returns (e.g., buyer's remorse, project cancellation) may incur a 15% restocking fee covering re-inspection, repackaging, and inventory adjustment. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

6. Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method:

  • Credit card: 3-7 business days to your statement
  • PayPal/Stripe: 1-3 business days
  • Wire transfer: 3-5 business days to your originating bank account

7. Customs Refunds (DDP Orders)

For DDP shipments where duties+VAT were prepaid, refunds include the goods cost. Duties already paid to your country's customs are non-refundable per local customs law in most jurisdictions.

8. Replacement vs. Refund

Where stock is available, we may offer cross-shipment replacement (new unit shipped immediately, defective returned afterward). This is faster for time-sensitive deployments.
