Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between MX base and premium bundles?
Base bundles include the chassis with minimal common equipment; premium bundles add redundant routing engines, switch fabric boards and power supplies.
Are MX MICs and MPCs interchangeable across MX models?
MICs fit MIC-capable MPCs and some fixed MX platforms; MPC support depends on the chassis and fabric generation. Send the chassis and current cards and we confirm.
Do Juniper routers need separate licenses?
Many MX and ACX features and port capacities are licensed separately; tell us the features and bandwidth you need and we quote the licenses with the hardware.
