i-PRO is the surveillance business formerly known as Panasonic Security. The engineering lineage, the WV- part numbering and the low-light performance the Panasonic line was known for all carried across to i-PRO, and much of the installed base is still catalogued under Panasonic part numbers.

Compatibility notes
Older Panasonic WV- units and current i-PRO WV- units share a prefix but not always a firmware branch — an i-PRO AI application licence will only load on a camera with the AI-capable engine, not on a legacy WV-S model that merely looks similar. If you are adding analytics to an existing fleet, send us the camera part numbers and we will tell you which ones can actually take the licence rather than selling you licences that will not activate.
NDAA status
i-PRO is a Japanese manufacturer and is not restricted under Section 889 of the NDAA. It is regularly specified on U.S. federal and federally-funded installations.
