Compatibility notes
Hanwha renamed the company from Techwin to Vision, but part numbers did not change — an XNP-, QNO- or PNM- prefix identifies the series and remains valid across the rename. Wisenet WAVE licences are channel-based and stack, but a recorder licence is not interchangeable with a server licence. Multi-sensor models (PNM series) draw more than standard 802.3af budgets and generally need 802.3at or bt.
NDAA status
Hanwha Vision is a South Korean manufacturer and is not restricted under Section 889 of the NDAA. It is one of the most common NDAA-compliant replacements specified when a project has to move off a restricted brand.
