Arista transceivers and cables — more than 400 parts: 1G SFP and 10G SFP+ optics (SFP-10G-SR, LR and 10GBASE-T), 25G SFP28, 40G QSFP+ (QSFP-40G-SR4 and LR4), 100G QSFP28 (SR4, LR4, LRL4, CWDM4, DR and SRBD BiDi), 400G QSFP-DD (QDD-400G) and OSFP 400G and 800G modules, CAB-S-S and CAB-Q-Q direct attach copper cables, CAB-Q-S and CAB-Q-4S breakout cables, and AOC-S-S, AOC-Q-Q and AOC-D-D active optical cables in lengths up to 30 m.
Optics and cables are offered new or tested with their Arista part numbers, so they are recognized by EOS without third-party warnings. We match speed, reach, fiber type and breakout mode to each switch port.
What to include in your RFQ: the Arista part number (for example QSFP-100G-LR4 or CAB-Q-4S-100G-2M), quantity, the switch model, link distance and fiber type, and the delivery country.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a DAC and an AOC?
A direct attach copper (DAC) cable is passive copper for short runs inside a rack; an active optical cable (AOC) uses fiber with built-in optics for longer runs and lighter cabling.
Can a 100G port be split into 4x 25G?
Yes — with a CAB-Q-4S-100G breakout cable or a breakout-capable optic, on switches that support breakout mode on that port.
Which 400G form factor do I need, QSFP-DD or OSFP?
It depends on the switch: Arista offers both. Send the switch model and we quote the matching 400G or 800G module.
