What do the -F and -R suffixes on Arista PSUs and fans mean?
They set the airflow: -F parts (red) move air front-to-back and -R parts (blue) back-to-front. All PSUs and fans in one switch must use the same direction.
Are 7500R line cards compatible with 7500E chassis?
Compatibility depends on the chassis fabric and supervisor generation. Send the chassis model and current fabric modules and we confirm before quoting.
Can I mix power supply wattages in an Arista switch?
Use the same model in each slot of a switch for redundancy; tell us the switch and we quote the supported PSU.
